Last night in the Junior Suite

Tonite's the last nite that we are going to be spending over at the club... the 4-year long saga concerning the club seems finally about to end... we spent a gruesome three weeks struggling through the calling of our members, the form fillings, station manning and voting process...

Tomorrow is going to be the last official day for us to collect votes... foresee that it's gonna be a very busy day with plenty of members rushing to put in last minute votes for the scheme... hope no nasty scenes are going to pop up... just hope for a busy but pleasant day where you are sufficiently busy so that time passes quickly but you can still work with happy spirits without getting pissed or irritated with anyone...

Today was an okay day...I went in to work at about 1.30pm and worked till 10pm in the night... was busy collecting the votes and calling NHB to see how we could get them to allow us the complimentary use of some historical pictures...would have been easier paying the $650 for the rights to use the 12 pictures for our 2006 calendar... pretty meagre sum to pay considering that we will be printing about 20,000 copies of the calendar... comes up to less than 3cents per calender for the pictures...

Oh well...who doesn't want to save money? Guess the same theory applies for companies... not wanting to pay even though you can well afford it...haiz... oh well...that's how sponsorship and 'with compliments' came about huh?

I just washed my hair...caught a little bit of 'What a Girl Wants', didn't see the beginning so got a little lost with the story line... will be going to sleep in a while... maybe I will try writing a more philosophical blog entry when I am less tired... I will prob want to write an analytical piece about whether I am more introverted or extroverted...more expressive or more reserved...but for now...I will sleep upon it and try to understand myself just a little more...

It's been good blogging, kinda like talking to myself or writing in a diary, except unless someone ever happens to chance upon my blog...otherwise this is just an online diary of my thoughts..

Just a teeny whiny tipsy

I kinda like the feeling of being a little tipsy...not drunk but just that very comfortable feeling when you start feeling just a little drowsy but otherwise still in full control of your senses and you just know that you are going to have a good nite rest when you finally get into bed...

Just came back from a quick drink with my weekend kakis at the Wine Connection at Dempsey Road...it was a lovely evening well spent with good friends...We order a bottle of dessert wine from Germany...can't remember the name of the bottle now...taste alot like Muscato... but a little lighter and a trifle less sweet...

Met up with Megan at about 6.30pm at Plaza Singapura...nothing in mind to do...simply spend the weekend as what many other Singaporeans would do...dinner with friends and just coffee or something...

kinda an eventful day...went to the MOS Burger at PS to order a ice milk tea but ended up emptying a quarter of the cup down my boyfriend's pants...haiz what a clumsy oaf I was...so embarassing...

Later, our friend MoMo Kim wanted to go to Best Denki to check out some stuff so we all went...Megan and I were just standing near the shavers section when a salesperson approached us to find out if we needed any help...I stupidly replied that we just so happened to be standing there...an I guess the salesperson was at a loss with my answer as well...cos he sheepishly told us to slowly stand there and enjoy our stand...

It was really pretty amusing... pity I have to work tomorrow...otherwise I would definitely enjoy my evening even more...still I think the worst period in my job is going to end soon...so I shall be looking forward to the rainbow ahead...

Cool! My usually reserved boyfriend whom I can hardly get to speak more than 3 words at times actually started his own blog... and he actually got it to look quite nice with the comic drawings...

Come to think of it...god! He is so selfish... I have been telling him to draw me something too... but till now I have yet to have a drawing dedicated to me... he probably thinks that I am not worth his effort to draw...

How very upsetting...well at least I am glad that he acknowledged my existence on his blog...not least his birthday surprise... well I will forgive you 20% on account of the pic of the speakers... anyway till later... till I find something else to grouse about... as for now... I am just gonna whack him over the head with my trusty bolster....

Selamat Hari Raya Adifitri - 1 Nov 2005

Thanks to our Muslim friends going thru a whole entire month of fasting... the rest of us are all enjoying a day off today! Probably gonna be a lazy day... maybe going for a picnic in the afternoon with my 'Bao Bao'.

Think we will head to White Sands later, grab some picnic foods, maybe borrow a book and head down to East Coast for a lovely lazy day...

Maybe we can get a bottle of fruit wine and drink a toast to the wonderful afternoon... a massage would be perfect for now... theurapeutic and soothing...

Maybe I should do a internet search to find out the places for good massages... wanna do a slimming massage... have been putting on quite a bit of weight... ever since I started working about 4 months ago... I have horrendously put on almost 3 - 4 kgs!!!

Think I really should be getting off my butt and doing some workout to burn away all the excess calories... just yesterday I had a triple decker chocolate chip cookie from Dough Boy... donkey had recommended it... she had a white socialite cookie herself... it is actually a cookie with white choc chips... very sweet and lovely...

It was the dessert ending for our meal at BAB Noodle at Millenium Walk... as usual, I had my 'Kimchi Seafood Vermicelli', while donkey had her 'Tom Yam Seafood Kway Teow', Dennicce ordered a portion of Agedashi Tofu and deep fried calamari rings to share with plenty of mayonnaise and thousand island dressing... hardly the way to go if we were really trying to diet right...

After dinner, Dennicce went home, leaving me and donkey to wander over to Suntec and do some shopping... IORA was having a steal and we bought similar brown jackets as a steal... only $29 for a jacket!! Great Buy! Anyway... it was donkey who found the cool jacket...

I bought a black bag at one of those push cart stalls... the bag is pretty simply... both formal and informal... it could probably go with work wear or just jeans and a spagetti top... such is the ease of most black stuff...

Okie... will be stopping here... gonna get ready for my picnic later... think will buy carrot cake, bee hoon... some nachos... well we'll see what White Sand has to offer... till later...ciao!!
