This is Gross

I just looked at the date of my last post and it says January 24, good grief I just realized how long I have neglected my poor blog... I wonder if it actually missed me... :P

Well I have been wanting to update my blog for ages... there's been interesting stuff happening, so hey my life is not all that boring ya... but it's more a case of overactivity...and yes... at the workplace... I've been so sick of hitting on the keyboard, though actually I really like the sound created by hitting away at the keys and seeing the characters come on the screen...

For starters, to make up for lost time, I must announce that the 2nd quarter's club magazine is finally almost done... it's now in the hands of our Executive Director...now the challenge is how to get her to give it back quickly so I can run it to the printers...damn I am sure I am late from my printing and mailing schedule...oh well I think I did try hard enuf...

Of course there were intermittent delays during the process of putting all the material together... but nope it's not course I have been lazing... just due to all the extra work and disrupting phone calls which have to be answered and taken care of...

There's lots of excitment in the Club, primarily since the vouchers have been mailed out...there has been a influx of members coming by and demanding to use their vouchers...

So food costs increase, electricity increase, staffing costs increase but no real income coming in...how fulfilling is that right... all actions have their own consequences so looks like the Club is paying the price for what the previous owners did... anyway it's the perfect excuse for the owners to reject increments, prevent requests for more bonus and blah blah...

Really despite all past unhappiness at the Club, working here doesn't seem all that bad at times... environment is pretty, co-workers are great, especially since I have got my donkey working with me... haha mutual support for the animals...

It's a Sunday today, and yes I have been doing weekend duty for three weeks in a ROW...WTF!
On a more positive note, coming in on the weekends is a great way to clear all the paperwork and re-organize the desk for the coming week... of course I have been answering a few complaint emails and calls...

I was working on the skeleton contents for the 3rd quarter publication earlier... I am trying to make a promise to myself to ensure that the 3rd quarter's publication is on time this time...so I shall try to start ASAP...yes ASAP... no more delays...and no procrastination....

I wonder if all the work stress is driving Singaporeans nuts or rather the working population of this world...with the pressure to perform, outperform and continuously finetune what we are doing... I am sure pyschotherapy will be a fantastically lucrative profession in the future...

Perhaps that's why financial/commercial analysts forecast that the economy of tomorrow will be fuelled 70% by the services industry...Psychotherapy/Pyschiatric treatment/Psychology Services... = 65% Services Industry... haha

I must be going crazy after that long break of not blogging... oh well I am back for now....but just dunno how long I can keep this up... urmmm...
